Between the Mediterranean and the sky

Petit Refuge is a retreat for design lovers. In 2020 and 2021, we extensively and carefully renovated this quaint Provençal house. Since then, it presents itself as an eclectic fusion of contemporary and traditional styles with antiques as well as regional and international art. Ideal for those looking for a few days of peace and seclusion away from the hustle and bustle of big cities.

The House

This special little hideaway is a private, somewhat hidden paradise, ideal for a couple to spend a romantic time together or for two couples to spend active days on the Côte d’Azur and its hinterland.

Tourrettes sur Loup

Tourrettes sur Loup is located between the sea and the mountains at the beginning of the Maritime Alps at about 400 meters. The medieval village is in its core a car-free paradise of winding streets and houses grown together. Close enough to the Côte d’Azur to explore its bustling cities, beaches, starred restaurants, museums and galleries. And far enough inland to enjoy the tranquility of the beautiful Maritime Alps, its nature and little villages. Days here are filled with cooking and drinking under starlit skies, swimming, reading, hiking, picnicking, gazing into the far distance, and generally relaxing.

Who we are

We are Kristy and Oliver and live in the north of Germany. After years of traveling to far-away countries, we have been longing for a getaway that is tranquility and inspiration at the same time. In 2012, we fell in love with this place with its serenity and joie de vivre. Since Le Petit Refuge has become part of our lives, we spend as much time as possible with our friends and family here under the southern French sky. With a lot of heart and love we have decorated our house. We look forward to welcoming you here in Le Petit Refuge
